Māhina Bay: Bus Stop 8842 Marine Drive near Māhina Bay temporarily moved during works until further notice
The temporary stop is located 30m south toward Sunshine Bay. Stop moved due to Tupua Horo Nuku; construction of a seawall and shared path along Marine Drive
Wadestown: Grosvenor Terrace stop 4117 closed and stop 5117 moved – until further notice
During Seismic Strengthening of Retaining Wall, city bound stop 4117 closed until further notice. Stop 5117 toward Wadestown moved 90m toward Wadestown Vet and Cattery. Works are due to last several months, stops will reopen once work has ended.

Paraparaumu Station Northbound Platform Construction
From Friday 20 June, fencing will be installed around the entire northbound platform building. This will limit access to seating, shelter, and make accessways narrower. For details on accessibility and the new northbound train stopping point, please see more information.
Otaki: stop 1708 Main Rd – Main Rd temporarily moved 55m north to outside Macpac until further notice
Update: Rangatira St detour ends Monday 13 October with stops 1732 and 1765 reopening at Otaki Library
Temporary stops are located at no.15 and no.16 Rangatira St (near carpark). Buses detour between Matene St and Rangatira St. School Bus 509 will start trips from temporary stop at 15 Rangatira St.

Hataitai: Greta Point bus stops,7547 and 6547 permanent removal – Monday 6 October 2025
Stops 7547 Evans Bay Parade opp Greta Point Wharf, and 6547 Evans Bay Pde (near 331) are to be removed as part of the Ākau Tangi Evans Bay improvements project. These changes will help improve bus journey times. Alternates stops are located south near Cog Park or north toward NIWA.

Karori: bus stop 5321 Chaytor Street opposite Curtis Street closed during slip work, from 9am Monday 29 September until further notice
This stop is temporary closed for the duration of the work, approximately 6 weeks. Works is weather related, and dates may change. Use stop, 5320, Zealandia – Chaytor St (Appleton Park), located 260m toward Birdwood Street. Stop 4321 located opposite remains open.
Hutt Central: Stop 8116, Queens Drive at Waterloo Road moved 60m toward Kings Crescent roundabout
Stop moved 60m north toward Kings Crescent roundabout to opposite Beveridge Locksmith.
Otaki: stops remain open during Mill Road closure between Dunstan St and roundabout on Main Hwy – Wed 1 Oct until further notice
Due to a change in roadworks located near the roundabout at intersection with Main Hwy, Rahui Rd and Mill Rd, buses detour via Dunstan Street during closure with all stops remaining open.
Masterton Station Car Park - Temporary Reduced Capacity (11-12 October)
Contractors will have various areas of Masterton Station car park closed as they progress through works. Car park capacity will be reduced for the weekend 11-12 October with areas of the car park reopening as they finish.
Stop 9057 Maungaraki Shops moved 9am–2:30pm, Mon 6 Oct to approx. Wed 15 Oct for shelter upgrades.
A temporary stop is located 50m north to opposite the pharmacy. Works is weather related, and dates may change.
Ōtaki Plateau bus detour, stops closed with temporary stops available, from Thursday 16 October until further notice
During Rahui Road closure, R290 and R509 buses will travel around Ōtaki Plateau in the opposite direction. Rahui Rd, Freemans Rd, Te Manuao Rd stops will be closed with temporary stops located directly opposite closed stops. Use the link below for bus plan information and detour map.

Labour Day Weekend: Saturday, 25 October - Monday 27 October 2025
Buses will replace trains on all lines for the whole Labour Day Weekend (Saturday 25 October-Monday, 27 October 2025). Bus and ferry services will be running on Sunday timetables on Labour Day (Monday 27 October). Please allow extra time for travel.
Taita: Route 110 southbound to Petone, bus detour and bus stop moved, 8am - 5pm, Monday 6 to Friday 24 October
Due to roadworks on Reynolds Street, Route 110 services southbound to Petone will detour via Pearce Cresent. Bus stop 8237 Renolds Street at Pearce Cresent will be moved to 44 Reynolds Street.

Updated 10/10: Stop 1150 Kapiti Rd at Golf Rd moved to 365 Kapiti Rd (nr Howell Rd intersection), 9am - 1pm Mon 13 & 9am - 4:30pm Tues 14/Wed 15 Oct
Buses follow a short detour via Howell Rd, Marine Parade toward Manly St or Golf Rd. All other stops remain open. Dates are constantly changing, we will update as soon as we are able too.
Stop 8254 High St at Petherick St moved to 1290 High St, 9am–2:30pm Wed 15 Oct
Temporary stop is located southbound on the opposite side of the Petherick St intersection.
The automatic doors to the waiting room on the southbound platform are currently broken. Please use the door facing the Park & Ride, via the stairs.
